Alaska and Canada Holiday

This stop was called Denali View North. The Athabascan native people's word "Denali" means "The High One". Denali is the original name for Mt. McKinley. At 20,320 feet, Mt. McKinley is North America's highest peak. We stopped for petrol @ $3.47 per gallon which was the most expensive the whole trip - no Safeway discount here! Oh, forgot to mention that you can get a Safeway discount card for free and save quite a bit on Alcohol, Food and Petrol from their stores. We got onto that the first day in Anchorage thanks to some helpful shop assistant.
