Alaska and Canada Holiday

We crossed many, rocky creeks with fast flowing, very clear blue water. With the rugged high mountains and beautiful scenery as a back drop I was continually making Pete stop for photos. The purple flower found by the side of the road EVERYWHERE was fireweed - Alaska's national flower. This photo only shows fireweed but we had white, red, pink, purple & yellow wildflowers along most of the roads we travelled.
