Fairbanks and Arctic Circle, Alaska

Back on the boat again we headed back down the Chena River towards the centre of Fairbanks. This house would be the more upmarket version of the log house. Back on shore, we still had plenty of daylight left so did a bit of shopping and had a look around Fairbanks then parked across the road from where the mail plane leaves so we would be ready to board the flight at 7am. It was $4 overnight in the car park and there were two other RVs there as well as us. [Just as an aside, they also encourage RVs to stay in WalMart car parks in America. The security guards would be chasing you out in Australian Department Store car parks!]
