Fairbanks and Arctic Circle, Alaska

The Alaskans are very much into potting flowers the minute it is warm enough so throughout the towns and in front of most stores are hanging baskets full of flowers and decorative gardens in all of their parks. I guess they have such a short period when they can do this that they make the most of it.
