Fairbanks to Valdez, Alaska Canada Holiday

The Delta River was flowing fast with meltwater. It is Rock Four that clouds these glacial streams with finely ground silt. It is produced from the grinding of rocks against each other as the glaciers move across the valley floor. We are told that you can often see herds of bison roaming the Delta River valley and but we were out of luck with that today. We did see a military helicopter and plenty of seagulls - yes seagulls like we have at home and nowhere near the sea. They have the same problems as us it seems as many signes say 'Don't feed the gulls'.
