Fairbanks to Valdez, Alaska Canada Holiday

Near Glennallen we stopped to take a photo of the Wrangell-St Elias Mountains with the Copper River in the foreground. We could see Mt Drum and Mt Samford and although it is hard to see in this photo becuase of the clouds, puffs of smoke could be seen coming from Mt Wrangell. We were a bit tempted to camp right here as it was an amazing view but we couldn't get a level spot so continued on to Gulkana Bridge. The Gulkana River was designated one of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers in 1980 and is popular for rafting, canoeing and of course, fishing.
