Beerwah Forest Reserve, Qld

At the time we were there, the river was very muddy due to the runoff from the floods. We followed the two short, easy walks: the Mooloolah River circuit and the Melaleuca walk. This area is home to a variety of wildlife including the wompoo fruit-dove, eastern yellow robin and the rarely seen Richmond birdwing butterfly.
