Boondooma Dam, Lake and Campgrounds, Queensland

They have an annual Yellowbelly Fishing Competition at Boondooma Dam one weekend in February. It is organised by Wondai Shire Council and over 500 keen anglers try for a share of the prize money. With a surface area of 1920 hectares and an average depth of 11 metres when filled to capacity, there is plenty of room for everyone.
