Album 105 - After crossing the Romanian border near Vama Veche on the Black Sea coast we travelled south west following the beaches to Varna before basically going west to the Capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. Highlights of this section of the 'Big Trip' were the Aladzha Monastery built into the side of a cliff, the ruins from ancient Roman Thermal Baths, the Stone Forest, Veliko Tarnovo's churches and fortress ruins, the Saeva Dupka Caves, the Lakatnik Rocks and Kaast Springs and the scenic drive through Ritlite Gorge to Sofia.
