UK and Europe Roadtrip - Constance CathedralThis crypt is thought to have been part of the first cathedral built in Constance in the 700s. The relics of St Pelagius were brought here from Rome in the mid 800s and a burial chamer was erected to hold them. St Conrad died around 975 and his tomb was also incorporated in the crypt.
