Horizontal Falls and Derby

The Boab trees are found along the Gibb River Road area from Kununurra to Derby and are most prevalent the closer you get to Derby. Some people call them bottle trees as they hold vast amount of water and grow to be hundreds of years old. The Boab fruit is carved with designs by indigenous people of the area.
