Horizontal Falls and Derby

We took the flight to the Horizontal Falls from Derby. You can also take it from Broome but it is $100 dearer because of the greater distance involved. You head across King Sound then across the Kimbolton Ranges which are a series of parallel ridges. The land in this area is very flat with rivers snaking their way across the sand flats and mangroves towards the Buccaneer Archipelago.
