Mataranka Hot Springs - Bitter Springs

Evidence of the flooding though this area is obvious - see the debris in the branches and wrapped around tree trunks, also many plants are flattened by the flood waters. The National Park campground was still closed due to the damage caused by the recent flooding. In the Caravan Park it is amazing to see the high water mark and imagine that body of water that went through there - about 5m above normal levels.
