Album 9 - Mataranka, Edith Falls, Umbrawarra Gorge - Qld 2006

Our next stop was Mataranka Hot Springs. The crystal clear water bubbles out of the ground from 100m below the surface at 34 degrees and empties into the Roper River in Edith National Park. We visited 2 of the springs, did the walk to Mataranka Falls then headed off to Edith Falls and Umbrawarra Gorge. We stopped the following night at Douglas Daly Caravan Park on the Douglas River for some fishing.
