England - North York Moors to Scarborough |
Album 88 - The wildflowers were out across the North York Moors which made the walks at places like Fen Bog, that sounded horrible, actually quite lovely. We visited more amazing ruins of abbeys and castles at Rievaulx, Helmsley, Pickering and Whitby. Once we hit the east coast we saw very high sea cliffs at Boulby and walked part of the Cleveland Way with some impressive coastal views. We finished this section of the trip in Scarborough, Yorkshire. Missed the last Album? See Album 87 which covers Lakes District to North York Moors.
