Tangalooma, Moreton Island, SE Qld 2008

A great weekend away from Brisbane starts with an hour trip to Moreton Island on the Tangalooma Flyer leaving the Brisbane River at Pinkenba. Tangalooma Resort is on the western side of the island facing the relatively calm waters of Moreton Bay. It is only 58 kilometers northeast of Brisbane. We walked along the beach watching sunsets, motored up to 'the wrecks' to snorkel amongst the coral and fish, went kayaking, fed the dolphins...
